After reading this I called them back--their name comes up as "Professional Recovery Consultants." The woman answering said her name was "Angel Powell." She refused to answer questions without my giving her "personal info to confirm." She gave me the same number as the "business office" and said they don't operate through "MyChart" because only my doctor can write me with it (obviously a scam). They gave the Meridian Parkway address as their physical address. I told her I was recording her and planned on reporting her to the Attorney General. She started to get angry and told me I was welcome to and that she was unable to provide me any answers to my questions because those were the "rules." I recommend calling them back, tying up their line, recording it, and reporting it forward. That's what I'm going to do, after writing Duke right now.

Got this call and the person said it's from Duke Health and needed to confirm my birthday and address before she could tell me what this call was about. I asked for a phone number to call back after I verify the call and she told me the phone number 866-907-8024. I looked up that number and it's a scam also from Duke Health. If you get these calls just ask them to send you a private message through your Duke Health account (Duke My Chart), do not give them your information.

My mom just got a call today also. I googled the number. It comes up durham county criminal court. Sad because she is a patient of duke health. I don't think the business dept will reach out in this manor.

This number from Durham, just called our house number & started with recording "this is not a sales call, this call is important, please start on the line". After the 3rd repeat a person named Elizabeth came on saying she was from DUKE HEALTH & needed to speak with my husband (by full name), & would only speak to him. When he got on she repeated who she was & said the call was being recorded. THEN she ASKED for his Date of Birth to verify who he was...i said don't do it, it's a scam. He asked for her name and phone number where he can call her back -same number 919-808-4260. This is horrible that scams can happen in the name of a hospital that he has been to!!! How'd they get our information?
