Got unwanted call from 929-415-3511?
Claiming to be a medical company requesting medical records when we ask for a release of documentation they hang up
Called stating they faxed and emailed a request for two patient's information. He questioned what portal program we are using and wanted more details about it. Sounded like a call center in the background. Told him I need ROIs before I can release any information, he questioned which law required that, when I said (very rudely and aggressively) "HIPPA!" he got off the phone with me quickly.
Yep me too. At my clinic and I said "why would I want to do that?" Long pause....hahahaha
I got a call on my personal phone that “United Health Care” needed information for an audit.
Received a call 12/06/2021 stated they were CIOX Health affiliated with CENTENE requested information regarding address and fax. Requested they would set appt for December 16, 2021. for audit.
Just received a call for this 929-415-3511. Sounds very strange.
Also got a request for medical records to our business. Named off several medical providers who have not worked here, also did not have the correct address/name/etc of our business. Very weird call. Just kept repeating themselves even after I kept confirming that they did not have the correct information.
Called our business about a Medical Records Request. Advised him to fax us a copy of the request he needed & he said oh nevermind I must call you back your information is not popping up on my system.
