I received a debt collection letter from Amplicon saying that I owe a company called Element 7 for medical tests. When I asked the date of service, it was two years ago and they said the claim was denied by my insurance as being an out of network provider. I confirmed with my insurance provider that no claims were filed. They looked up the phone number and we agree that this is a scam.
Claims to be a debt collector. Sent hard mail notice. I disputed and they sent another letter showing services being claimed by element 7 labs in Costa mesa, CA. It appears that business is permanently closed. Debt collector claims to be Amplicon LLC. The 2nd letter they sent has a different address for Amplicon than the 1st letter. Calling this 949 number gets you an automated system that just says "hello" welcome to the main menu and then various options. Definitely appears to be a high tech scam
called the # after receiving a " collection notice". No one answered. I have no outstanding debt. I think it's a phony.
#949-490-1952: I’ve received 2-4 calls daily from this company, stating I qualify for student loan reduction. Although I no longer have loans. I’ve called to be removed from robo call list, and was hung up on. These people are a SCAM. They only want your personal information. DO NOT ANSWER these calls & report to FTC immediately!!!!
Caller by name John called in and left message about student loan reduction rate. I called someone answered. I tried to advise him I do not have student loan then he said twice that I do then I advised him again that I do not have student loan & they are reaching the wrong person. He then hung up on me. I called again someone else answer & i tried to complain about the previous rep hung up on me the he said that my phone number will be added to do not call list then he hung up on me. I believe this place is scam/fraud & unprofessional place.
