I got a text and it said "Hi Aaliyah!" (my name is not Aaliyah) "My name is Olivia and its super random but one of your friends worked with us awhile back (all my friends work in retail or service industry but none in an office) and you were recommended by them for a position our office is looking to fill. Staring base pay/appt is $21, flexible schedules. We're reaching out because we know a lot of people are looking for a fall job/ extra hours/ etc. and we have a remote program where you could work virtually right now! I would love to chat. Would you like some more information?"
Got a call pretending to be "extended warranty" for my car. Knew exact name and year. When I pretended to "not know how many miles I had on my car", and before I was going to tell her to "remove my number", she rudely told me she "hopes my car breaks down" then hung up on me. Tried calling back, but music kept playing then I was hung up on.
I get calls all the time. I feel like it has to be a scam since they say "can you hear me now? I feel like to get me to say Yes.
Weird computerized voice, "Amy from the Dealer," calling about car warranty expiring. Got the same computerized voice from another number the other day.
I have gotten lots of calls from this number and other local numbers with the same sales pitch of being a travel planner. I have asked many times to have them take me off the list. I am still receiving calls.
Never answer calls before checking for fraud activity, online first. I see many calls from this number with one digit variation. Number has been blocked. soon I will get another call from 952 209-9846. Sad, technology needs to catch with these fools. Scammers,Theft/Fraud are searching for live numbers.
