Got the same thing, just before 9:00 p.m. Told the guy "wrong number". He said, "Well maybe you can help me." Then started in asking for a donation for the police. I said I already donated to the police and hung up.
They just called right before 9pm claiming to be Bill asking for donations to support police or firefighters. Bill wanted to send me an envelope so he was phishing for my address. Spam and a scam!
