Did you contact your local police department and ask if there's any truth?
11/12/2019 - I received the same call and experience as above. Was showing up as Arlington Police Dept. Said I had several warrants out for my arrest for outstanding debt and I needed to turn myself in by 2:00 tomorrow. They gave me a case number and said if I settled the issue before 2pm tomorrow, I needed to call US Legal Support at 954-289-4887. Knowing I had no warrants, however a crazy ex-husband that this could pertain to, I reached out to the Arlington PD. YES, It Is A SCAM.... please be careful....
Today is October 29th and I received a call saying that they were Oakland Police Department with an arrest warrant. That if I didn't contacts this US legal support I'll be rested tomorrow at 11 a.m.
Today, October 10, 2019 I received a call which showed on my cell phone as the local police department number but was actually a woman's robo voice on the other end stating that I needed to call the "US Legal Support " at 954-289-4887 to settle a debt. I was told that if I did not make the call a warrant would be put out for my arrest and I would need to turn myself into the local police by 2:30pm tomorrow. I Googled the 4887 number and found that it was a fraud-related number so I'm adding this information hoping it will help other people avoid this scam also.
Insurance sales. Calls at 4 a.m. and other unholy hours. No one ever answers and pressing 2 to be removed from their calling list is useless. Press 1 to be connected to an agent an no one EVER picks up. Just hold music.
