started as robo-call. Was asked to press 1. A man with a heavy Indian accent by the name of "Mark" told me that I was eligible to recieve electric bill reduction via my account with Ohio Edison and was a good customer. WELLLL.... I have no account with Edison!! "Mark told me that he doesn't work for that company and became strangely evasive and hostile when I pushed back with legitimate questions ( he informed me that I had NO RIGHT to question him because HE was the one that asked ME the questions!!! ) The call-back number on my ID is the number for an "800" number provider. I told "Mark" that he was in fact speaking to a federal agent of the FCC and his demeanor changed. Sounded like the dude was going to cry. He hung up. To bad "Mark". I WAS able to waste 15 minutes of his life that he'll NEVER get back. Don't be afraid to report these calls!!!
Medicare Scam. Not a robocall. Fishing for Medicare, Medigap info etc.
Lady said she was from a 'Medicare provider' about my painful lower back. I have no back issues. Hung up after telling them not to call again.
Calls multiple times per day. Answered once but no one was on the line. Never leave messages, and sometimes call dozens of times in just a few minutes.
