Call from this number with US COURTS NEWARK NEW JERSEY showing up as origination of call. I answered said hello twice and I heard people in background but no one responded so I hung up and immediately turned off my phone.
My nephew called from New Jersey. He had been in a car wreck and had stitches in his lip which is why I didn't recognize his voice and why he didn't remember his name. The number came up as Department of Justice with a Newark area code so it had to be legitimate. They were going to charge the innocent lad with a DUI and he had no bail money so, alas, he would have to spend time with ruffians and villains in the slammer. I was his last hope for bail money. I told him to confess everything and learn a trade while incarcerated. His response was most rude and ungrateful.
Caller ID was Dept. of Justice. Did not answer. Rang twice and they hung up.
Person call my phone number, I said who are you, after ~ person say ??? I don't know what he's talking about, It seems he has a mental problem.

I just got a call from this number but didn't pick up. I googled the number and found this page. THIS IS SO CALLED "GRANDMA SCAM" which originated in Poland a few years ago. Tell your elderly parents and aunts and uncles about it. Warn them not to use names, tell them to ask "who is it?" rather than " Is that you Johnny, Bobby, Alex"... The caller will most likely say yes and that he is in court and needs bail money....Guys, this is a massive scam. Be careful.
