Caller asked for someone who hasn't been with the company for 10 years. Then got nasty when I wouldn't transfer him to the new manager.
Got a call saying they were with Legal Services of a county close to my residence. They tried to make it sound like the Sheriff's department was looking for me. Just a bunch of BS.
GOT A CALL STATING WAS GOING TO SUE ME BUT COULD BARELY HEAR WHAT THEY WAS SAYING
Identified himself as an employee of the Weld County Court system threatening legal action which is in direct violation of the Colorado Fair Debt Collections Act and the federal Fair Debt Collections Act. If you get a call from this number, immediately contact FTC and file a report. It would also be wise to contact the Attorney General Office for your state and file a complaint there as well. The sooner this entity is caught and charged, the better.
