Very interesting to listen to how they get the info. Knowing it was a scam I played along. If any FBI agent was wanting money from me, I should have thought,I know I paid my taxes, I know I’ve never had fees or penalties. They called me, threatened me and then for verification asked for my name, my address, my phone #, my SS# and birthdate. I could pay it with a credit card, do you think I would be that crazy. They are very good. I could see where people would be scared. I was a little weirded out even I know this was a scam. Anyone of importance will not ask for your account numbers, social security#, passwords or pins. They called you. They should have all pertinent info right there in front of the screen they are reading from. I usually get hung up on after they ask for my name.
