Caller first claimed to be Dollar General store - after several questions Jason with heavy accent told me the name of his firm was Register (something) Rtn. Wanted to get our agreement to be the only company in our field to be recommended by Dollar General. This is a scam. I asked for an email - but he did not send one and pressured this called party to give him a date when my boss would get back to him. As a gatekeeper for scam calls Obviously I did not commit to anything, but did want written proof of this caller to report.

man from "dollar general" wanting to promote our store.... were a head shop/ sex shop. i doubt the actual dollar general would want to promote that in their stores lol

"Maggie" with very light accent (African?) left a message. She claims to be Dollar General (the chain has a local store here in our small town). They want to promote our business (and she knew what business we are in). Very friendly, but Dollar General is not in the business to promote other businesses. Not our first call from "Dollar General" - but I give the previous dude credit, he knew the street address of our local store.
