Said he was calling to tell me the Justice Department was initiating a federal investigation was being taken against me. I said, “Really? BS. What’s my name?” He was surprised I asked that and said “Scott” then realized his mistake (I’m a woman). He then tried to tell me my name is Mrs. Scott. (It isn’t.) scammers. Indian or Pakistani accent. accent.
We received a call from Washington DC 202.858.5952 stating that we have received a prize and have not collected. They said the company called them and we needed to go through the IRS.
Got a call today from 202-858-7710. I'd won $7.5M in some kind of accumulated sweepstakes. They had my home address and wife's name. Also added 1/2M cash and a Mercedes. Didn't ask for any info. I'll see how many times they call back.
I got a call from this number. The caller knew my name and address. He said I had won $10 million and wanted to confirm my age. (And I'm sure other personal information.) He asked me to tell him my age. To which I replied, "No you tell me what you have on paper there and I'll conform that." Click. End of conversation.
These assholes had me on the phone for 4 hours believing someone got ahold of my account…
Got a message from 347-0943-4480 telling me to call 202-858-7206 to claim check from Pub. Clearinghouse. Yeah, right.
Got a call pretending i have warrants in Washington Dc and Texas and own mulitple properties.
Ditto...on MAY 27th. Did not give him any information. I am reporting it to our State as a scam.
