Unwanted & creepy text from this number not identifying themselves and saying I visited their website recently.
I just received this same phone call. I told them that I do not give out credit card info over the phone because there are too many email and phone scams around the holidays. He assured me that they could mail out a letter and envelope. He then transfered me to their billing department who then tried to pressure me into giving my credit card over the phone and I told her the same thing. They said I should receive an letter in a few days. Seemed fishy. We will see. I support the police but I think scammers may be capitalizing on the current political climate.
I think this was a scam. They asked for someone unknown to me at this number, then proceeded to try to get me to donate to the "National Patrolman's Relief Fund." He kept telling me that I had to give them my card number over the phone, and when I asked for proof of their non-profit, he gave me a website to the "Law Enforcement Officer's Fund." Kinda suspect when the two group's names don't jive.
Unwanted call from 206-202-9803 aggressively demands to sell a home
Called my home number then 30 seconds later called my cell phone. No one on the other end. Dead line. Must be trying to verify if the phone numbers are valid
Male caller hard to understand. Asking about selling our property at our address. Call was scratchy sounding and a “bad connection”. Told him to lose the number and hung up.
