I got a call with a recording stating that it was the Social security administration. The recording claimed that legal action was being taken against me for fraudulent activity.
The person on the other and tried to tell me that my Social Security number had been stolen and was used for fraudulent activity like money laundering drug trafficking etc. I was then told that they had been contacted by the FBI to handle the matter. I quickly set them straight to let them know that the FBI would be showing up at your doorstep not calling you to tell you that you had been framed

The caller sounds very intimidating. If I were a senior citizen or language problem I would have been very scared.
