They say that they are calling about helping veterans but the same number when you google it was used for a women's cancer fund - this appears to be a scam.
I had the same awful experience with this number - they called and I said that I was on the do not call list and to please remove the number from their call list and they said no (lol) and then click. The caller id says Home for Veterans and they are looking for money obviously for veterans this time - but the call did not go that far. It sounds like a computer talking and they ask for you by your first name which I did not acknowledge.
