Same happened to me! Except I called back when she hung up, it was a machine that answered when I called but their answering machine doesn't work. It'll say "press 8 for any other questions" it doesn't work and just repeats the options over and over again.
Caller ID viewed as Spam Risk. Let the call go to VM. All that was on the message was heavy breathing. Creepy.
same here. I work in a County Government Building, and was asked the exact same questions, is this the so and so department, and is your address so and so. Then goodbye right after. Very strange.
Literally just got the same phone call but looking for my department as the Town Tax Collector and verified our address....??? I thought it to be very strange too!!!
Caller ID said 'Spam Risk' but I picked it up because this is a museum and sometimes people call from out of the area. What sounded like a real person (woman) asked two questions... "Have I reached the Wayne County Historical Society/Museum of Wayne County HIstory?" - (my answer: you have) "Are you located at 21 Butternut Street" (my answer - 'we are') "OK, thank you" (click) WEIRD...
