Scam. Called claiming to be Amazon and requesting remote computer access.
Received several texts saying they had our lost kitty and wanted to send a 6 digit number to verify I was the owner. Terrible to have someone prey on emotions
I got a text from this number that reads "Yo is this Murphy? its Naomi,,, we talked on Badoo before when I went to chill with my grandmother but we didn't connect offline. Im back here for a little bit if ya want to for sure meet up this time, r ya available?"
Called me, used my name, and they said it was Publishers Clearing House. Called back from a different number and it went to a non-descript voice mail box. Really? Publishers Clearing House doesn't have a staff of operators to answer their phones? Or at least a message thanking you for calling, saying who they are, that your call is important to them and please hold the line?
got a call from 415-853-9619. I'm in Texas. I do not know anyone from this area code.
Went to voicemail and only got 2 sec of music. I don't know anyone in San Francisco!!!
