Got a text asking to confirm a loyalty membership. no company branding.
Says they are some kind of business verification co but they call from multiple numbers
had to say "this is obviously a phone mill, take us off your list, and don't call here again" - multiple times and then he said, "ok I'll call back" - go figure.
Got a call from 541-288-9355 claiming to be from Medicare. Phone number showed Unassigned... he said they were based in Washington DC, but he was using a local number. Wanted my Medicare number and a lot of personal information. I told him I was not comfortable giving this information out. He assured me I had nothing to worry about. I had to hang up on him.
Received an unwanted voicemail:::Hey it’s Barbara. I’m calling you from Texas resolution center. Give me a call back at (866) 918-1918 regarding your back tax debt. I’ve got some great news for you with some new changes that have recently taken affect and I just wanted to discuss your repayment or elimination options. It is imperative that I speak to you just as soon as possible so again again my phone number is (866) 918-1918. I am I am looking forward to hearing from you and have a great day and if you’d like to opt out of future calls, just please call back the toll-free-number.
