Received a call from this number at 3:30PM. The person who spoke to me tried to get personal details so that they could file my taxes for me. I declined to provide any information saying that I do my own taxes. When I tried asking them where they got my number from, they said job portal. I tried to ask them which job portal, they hung up.
Left a vm saying my account would be charged 399.99. I called the number and a guy from India answers telling me that I ordered a protection service for my computer 2 years ago and my renewal will happen unless I cancel and I can get my money back bc they didn’t provide the service. He told me to get in front of my computer so that he could give me a link to fill out a form to receive my refund. I asked him what account he was charging and he said another department has that information. I hung up.
Called and said I would be charged $399 if I did not cancel. Automated message. blocked and still came through on my voicemail calling back
Called Feb 3 claiming criminal activity on my Social Security. Told me to call before they file legal proceedings. Foreigner. Hung up on him mid sentence. Good riddance, “Nate” (phony name, too).
