Got a voice mail message from a "charlene" with a very heavy mumbled accent, referrng to a bill dispute, with instructions to call an 800 number, give a lot of personal info (RIGHT!) or fax same info to a different 800 number. I Then they said I had a maximum of 2 days to respond (on Xmas eve!). I DO have a bill dispute but this really sounded bogus so I didn't reply.
The first day, I mistakenly answered a call from with a very bad connection. I believe the that the caller identified me as a potential mark for a scam. The call originated from 1-360-246-1489. On the second day, I received two calls within five minutes , although I did not answer either call. The call originated from 877-967-0727. On the third day, I received a call from 678-583-2600 three times within 5 minutes, although I did not answer. The caller left no voice mail messages.
Called 6 times and got the same representative name Charlene who was very very disrespectful and nasty! Kept transferring my call to another department but it kept disconnecting. Called back and kept getting the same representative name Charlene ! She huffed and puffed like I was bothering her at work and she did not want to help
