Got unwanted call from 800-226-5885?
Called cell phone; did not leave message. I am going to block the number, based on what I have read here.
Call came from 800-226-5885. Scam - says electric bill was not paid and they are turning off the electric. Was not happy when I said I will be calling FPL. Told me I must call this number for customer service. Reported to FPL.
Called office and stated that power would be turned off at one of the units. THEY ARE A SCAM
CALLED PRETENDING TO BE FPL. THIS IS A SCAM
Threatened to shut off power in 2 hours unless we call to confirm payment.
Says they are FPL and due to non payment they are going to turn off power. Unless payment is made.
Prerecorded call from 800-558-0320, saying they are FP&L and technicians are on their way to shut off our power, I knew it was a scam. FP&L does not need to come out to shut power off. Recording stated to call back 800.226.5885 when the caller id read 800.558.0320 Very annoying all the unnecessary calls from ignorant SPAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!
Fake number saying they are on the way to cut off my electricity, I called FPL my account is in credit . And they recorded the FPL the actual FPL on hold message so it sounds legit.
Fake number posing as fpl saying your two recent payments haven’t gone through. SCAM
