Got unwanted call from 800-555-3333?
Only 4 complaints? 800notes.com had three PAGES' worth of them, dating back a DECADE. Recent ones said it was a car warranty robocall scam (in the past it's been everything from "Government Tracking" to credit card phishing expeditions, apparently). Caller ID came up as "Potential Spam" but the phone didn't ring, I don't think (YAY!). Thought "555" calls were only on TV shows.... Stupee spammers.
"Important Call" is what Caller ID was showing; no message left. Is it me, or are scammers not even trying anymore? I posted a screenshot on Instagram so people see the number and have a good laugh while they're ignoring their "important call".
Consumers from Florida, Virginia, Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and 29 other states complained about phone number 8005553333 calls or text messages.
