James Shawn called my 70 yr old mother in law about upgrading her TV boxes. She only has Xfinity TV Adapters. He came to her house and pretended to upgrade them. Charging her $240. He had her make the check out to SVT TECK and mail it to a New Jersey address. We are in Virginia. This scamming man needs to be stopped.
Called my 78 year old mother and told her he was with Directv and needed to update her equipment. She had to mail him a check for $375 to 2445 Bedford Place, Bellmore, NY 117110. He gave his name as James Shawn and she had to make out the check to STV Teck.
Trying to update dish receiver said if my grandmother didn't she wouldn't have satellite after Thursday. Wanted $240 mailed to him at 11 Straton Court Parkin, NJ 08859
Received call from 812-232-3648 said it was from East Calais, VT. Did not answer. I am on do not call list
number from VT has called number of times before never leaves message no ID just a robo call.
