Got a phone call claiming to be the Consumer Affairs about a rewards benefits. It seems like the scammer knows my dad by name. Don't trust these calls. Even if they know you by name. Scammers buy packages of people's names, addresses, SS#, phone numbers, etc. Don't fall for it. If you want to make sure, call them directly by googling their office phone number and asked them.
