Received text from some company named Home Buying Solutions and wanted to know if the person they were trying to reach wanted a cash offer. They were looking for someone by a different name
Just got a call from them saying my car warranty was expiring, I've never owned a car.. lol
Received a call from (813) 296-8688. Did not answer and no message was left. Now a blocked number.
When I call the number back it does not ring, it beeps 3 times & then hangs up. I tried it a cpl times with the same result! Clearly, a solicitor!
This number keeps calling and there is no one answering or it hangs up when answered.
Calls pretending to be government, businesses, or family and friends
Left message saying it was a second attempt call, (it was not) and stated something in regards to tax fraud. Obviously a scam. As the IRS does not handle tax issues by leaving a message saying you committed tax fraud. They say name and call back. It is scary as many people do not realize it's a scam and think they are in serious trouble, and dish out lots of money to these people.
