Called three times in 17 minutes, does not leave message, guessing scammer
got a call no response when I answered but the line was still open I said hello 3 times and then hung up
Repeated phone calls while trying to sleep in the middle of the night. 10 calls within 18 minutes.
The call saying they are investigation a person or relative that isn't you. Then the voicemails say they need your work information to complete a loan. Spammer 100%
Caller is the National Police and Troopers Assn seeking donations for their charity. According to 2017 financial records, this charity raised $16,000,000 and provided $70,000 to charities of their choice, keeping over $14,000,000 for salaries, et al. According to the Better Business Bureau, they are not accredited and have an "F" rating. Definitely a scam.
Voice message: "Hi, this is Brenda calling from the funding department following up on a piece of mail sent for pre-approval for a business line of credit up to $151,000, with rates starting at 4.9%. Your personal credit score is not a factor, this pre-approval is based on business industry and cash flow. However, it's imperative I speak with you as soon as possible before the pre-approval expires. I can be reached directly at 888-415-5973."
Over the last two days I have received continual calls from this number. When the answering machine is done with a recorded message, the caller hangs up without leaving a message. I feel harrassed by this caller. If you have something to say then leave a message.
This number has called me about 20 times in the past week. I answered it today and it's someone named Evan that says he's with a roofing company. He hung up on me when I asked for more company information.
