Posed as a representative from the Social Security Administration. Said someone was using my credit card in Texas and they asked for all mu identifying information. Sounded like an Asian accent.
Please STOP this abusive cycle by Time Warner Cable/Spectrum. They sell off our accounts; charge our credit cards with incorrect charges then pull CANCELLED credit cards from old accounts and call them ROllover charges. If we dont pay the charges go to our credit report. Collection calls are made to your employer. This is fraud and extortion.
I'm not quite sure what this call was about. The voicemail was very difficult to hear. The call was in reference to a person who is not me -- a completely different name. I did catch something like "This is our first attempt to contact you" and something about 24 hours. Whether that 24 hours was the timeframe in which i was supposed to respond, or that i could call back 24 hours a day, i'm not sure. Since i am not the person in the voicemail message, i am blocking/deleting the number. The message sounded vaguely threatening.
