I was told to call this number for verification and validation to register Amazon Prime on my TV. When I called they asked for my email and then prompted me to accept an Amazon generated request to change my password. Unfortunately, I let them and they were given access to my Amazon account. They completed the Amazon Prime TV verification, but then asked me to buy multiple years of Amazon Prime at a discounted rate. I declined and hung up. 12 hours later I realized my password had been changed and I needed to reset, but as of now, it looks like there has been no malicious activity on my account.

They completed the Amazon Prime TV verification, but then asked me to buy multiple years of Amazon Prime at a discounted rate. Stupidly, I let them charge me through PayPal for a lifetime subscription. Now, I have to report this as a scam. I changed my Amazon password and it looks like there has been no malicious activity on my account. However, how a TV set could advise me to do this is beyond me.
