Called with a "case" reference a payday lender from years ago. Said they were attorneys; a lie. Said they had court papers to serve the next day; a lie. beware they are feloniously misrepresenting themselves as officers of the court
just got a scam call as well. Gave me case number as well and threatened me as well.
Oh my gosh I'm reading theses and it's exactly what happened to me. Thank God for very good friend of over 25 years. He look it up for me

called stating there was a legal case against me that papers were sent to my home and I did not respond I did not receive any letters. They stated they would be serving me with papers etc. They gave my birthdate and last four of my social. Concerned that if they have that information they could scam me.
They call me every few months diff case numbers different debt total fraud they get nasty and say fine we'll tell the lawyers blah blah blah.
Threatening to come to the house or employment, the phone registered on called ID as area 573 -14 -........

Just received a call from this number, very few get thru being on the do not call list and using AT&T spam protect. I was looking for a new job and made to put in my phone number, now I’ve been getting tons of these calls.
