got a call from 866-618-5710 saying they were AT&T/DirecTv and could save me 50% off my bill if I would just go to the nearest store and buy an ebay gift card in the amount of half my bill and call them back with the card number. They said I would not have to pay my next bill. I called AT&T and they had NEVER heard of the ebay card promotion SCAM SCAM SCAM
"Hi dear i'm calling you from AT&T DIRECTTV to let you know that your existing account is call at five451st and tom in order to e able to discounts kindly call us back at 866-618-5710 from 8am till 5 pm if it's standard time thank you and have a great day." The call came from 866-626-6311. You can tell they used voice clips through the entire message.
I've been receiving calls from this number and it has been leaving automated messages supposedly from BMO Harris Bank. I called the local bank and they agreed that it was most likely a scam caller. Do not call this number back.
Robot saying it's my attorney and need to leave my worksite immediately and call a number. My lawyers would never have a robot call me and I had oddly just got off the phone with them.
Got a call from this number stating there was a problem with my BMO Harris credit card and to call back. It was an automated recording. I called BMO and verified there was no problem. They agreed it is a scam.
Got a voicemail from BMO Harris Bank regarding an important matter. Think it’s a phishing scam.
I do not answer any phone calls from numbers I do not recognize. (Thank goodness for caller ID. A robo-call voice left a message on my voice mail. But all it said was "Please call back at 866-618-8686 regarding a very important matter." Needless to say I did not call back.
