It was Directv calling to say they were going to add more programming to my account for a promotional time. I told them NO. Then she wanted to know what shows I like to watch. I hung up.
Ok so I got a call from them on Feb 10 and it was a political survey about the California ballot asking who I think would win and stuff. They promised to mail me a check for $5 to answer it. I figured I'd hang up as soon as they ask me to pay them. 37 minutes later (I was f**kin tired at this point but I was already half an hour in), the survey ended. Then they asked for my address, I ended up giving them a po box address rather than my real address. Today is March 13 and I checked my box as usual and saw something that looked like a check. Opened it, saw a check paid to me, for $5 lol. Seems like they kept their promise ????. It's real but I don't recommend picking up unless you have at least 30 min to an hour of free time and are extremely bored/in need of conversation. And you have to wait forever to get a measly $5 check.
Incoming call from 916-385-0046 shows it is from Elk Grove, CA. I do not know anyone at this number, but they keep calling.
Call from this number on 1/8/20 in the evening. Message went to voice mail. Upon checking message it was an old sounding man chuckling. BLOCK
I’ve asked them repeatedly to put me on their do not call list & they refuse because they are not soliciting
Picked up phone waited a female voice said hello. I said hello she hung up.

Called while I was in the room. Did not leave a message. Guessing they’ll call back with hopes of me answering.
