Some clown named William Banks claiming there has been changes to my student loans.
WAs left as part of a vm from a Mr William Banks demanding information related to my student loans. Since no name of business was given in the vm I marked it as spam and reported it to the FTC. This is the 350th call like this I've gotten in the course of 4 days.
Same call about my student loan changes. Gave me the name of William Banks. My phone automatically tagged the number he called on (900-999-9999) as spam and sent the call strait to vm. William left a call back number 949-485-4340 and reference number.
Left a voice msg saying changes to my student loan..which I have none... heap of crap dealing with scam calls all the time
949-485-4340 Left me a voicemail regards to my student loan changes have been made gave me a reference number and to return phone call back to 949-485-4340, left his name as well, this is the second or third time regards to my loan.
From Utah: Received a call from 878-218-7672. Said that there has been a change in my student loans and I was to call 940-485-4340 with my number And a code. Same here. Given that I actually did make changes to my loan account, I returned the call. I spoke with someone who asked for my FAFSA email and DOB. He said to check my email, which I found a "reset password link" with a passcode. He requested the passcode. I hung up. Very convincing scam for people who don't read things.
