Caller offers an extended warranty for auto. I gave them bogus personal info so that they could “verify” my eligibility. The name, address, zip code, city and state I gave them didn’t match, but they seemed unconcerned. Then they asked for cc information of course. Gave them a bogus number, expiration date and security code. Caller said the card number wasn’t correct. So I put him on hold to “get another card”. He sat on hold for over 5 minutes before he hung up. They’re very persistent. It was obvious from the beginning of the call that it was a scam. At least during the ten minutes I had him on the phone, he wasn’t able to scam someone else.
Foreclosure SCAMMERS, not a law firm, NO matter what their caller ID says.
I got two calls within a minute of each other. I had blocked the number from prior calls. Please fine them!
