I received a call from 415-469-1326. It was from AT&T confirming a technician appointment. It's legit.
Pacific Bell only operated in California and is owned by AT&T. AT&T has not used the name Pacific Bell since 2002.
415-469-1326 shows as "Suspected Spam" on Caller ID. This man says he is AT&T and wanted to confirm that I have a service technician appointment which I had canceled. Then he wanted personal information about me which has nothing to do with AT&T and which I didn't give. I think he isn't AT&T but may have gotten my phone number and address from the mailer which AT&T sends out to customers who add a new service to their account.
This number said it is AT&T, it has all my information for the service address. This should be a spam call since the lady on the phone keep telling me to purchase ADT security service, which I already had.
