Received a call from 415-379-3793 said they where from Amazon about an Apple Mac book
claiming to be an ooma representative, asked me to update credit card information
A call from UN-known - some type of scam - A search shows this number to be from San Francisco, CA. A land line number using MCIMETRO ACCESS TRANSMISSION SERVICES LLC. They keep calling using a different new number after being told to remove my number from their call list and blocked.
415-687-5821 texted SCAM 1 Oct 2024 at 11:47AM and 2 Oct 10:41am. "Hey its John we can get you 100,000 payback 118,000 by the morning where can i send the info? can do up-to 2M"
Said it was a call form Facebook/Meta and asked for personal information but they were denied & they said they’d call back in an hour.
